Plan · Prepare · Perform

Stop guessing. Start preparing.

You shouldn't have to become an MCAT prep expert just to prepare for the MCAT.

Between the overwhelming sea of third-party resources and mountains of conflicting advice, managing your preparation has become a problem of its own. Project 520 takes the stress and confusion out of your MCAT preparation. With a tailor-made, handcrafted prep schedule you will never have to wonder what you should be doing next.

Starts with a short survey. No payment needed.

Not a tutor. Not another resource.

You already have a plethora of great resources available to you: Kaplan, Khan Academy, UWorld, the AAMC, Anki, etc. What's missing is the system that ties them all together. Project 520 organizes the resources you have into one plan and helps you manage it.

Whether you've just begun your prep, are weeks out from starting, or somewhere in between, Project 520 will meet you where you are and build a plan for you so you can focus on studying.

Three steps to a plan that's actually yours.

  1. 1

    Take the survey

Tell me your test date, your hours, and where you're starting from.

  2. 2

    Book a free strategy consultation

We'll go over your survey together, talk through your timeline, and assess your plan. After that, I'll explain how my 1-on-1 coaching system works and what personalized support could look like for you. If I think you can succeed without coaching, I'll tell you that too.

  3. 3

    Get your schedule

I build your plan around your timeline and resources, with Anki integration and a CARS training protocol built in. At each and every phase of your prep, you'll know exactly what you should be doing.

Nate, founder of Project 520

Hi, I'm Nate.

I am an MCAT coach specializing in structured, personalized MCAT preparation. I am a 95th percentile MCAT scorer and Presidential Scholarship recipient from the University of Toledo College of Medicine.

I took the MCAT in 2016, and I remember how much of my energy went into figuring out what to study instead of actually studying. Project 520 is the set of tools and strategies I wish I'd had back then.

Every schedule is built by hand. No templates.

I work with a small number of Coaching students at a time, so every plan gets my full attention.

Frequently Asked Questions

What happens after I fill out the intake survey?

You'll get a link to book your free strategy consult. We'll go over the results of your survey together on the call during which we will assess your starting point, identify your biggest roadblocks, map out your approach, and discuss your next steps.

Is the strategy consult really free?

Yes. There's no obligation to buy anything. If you leave with a clearer plan for your MCAT preparation, that's a win in my book.

Which prep resources do you support?

Content review schedules currently support Kaplan, UWorld and Khan Academy. Anki integration supports the AnKing MCAT deck, MileDown, and Captain Hook. The CARS framework is designed with Jack Westin passages and the new AAMC Question Bank in mind. Practice question scheduling is resource agnostic.

Can I switch from Core to Coaching later?

Yes. Upgrade anytime, and what you paid for Core is credited toward your first month of Coaching.

How far out from my test date should I start?

Earlier is easier, but schedules can be built for most timelines. Put your test date in the survey and we'll talk about what's realistic on the call.

“You should never have to wonder what you should be doing next.”

Take the survey and book your free strategy consult. It takes about five minutes.
